Issue: A long-time contract manufacturing (CM) customer of ours was looking for multiple cable assemblies and sensors to be used in a solar panel controller unit they were manufacturing. Several of the bill of material (BOM) items had lead-times greater than 30 weeks, which wasn’t going to meet their customer’s needs.

Solution: NuWay was able to review the long-lead time items and recommend equivalent substitutions with much short lead-times. Due to this extra level of service, along with competitive pricing, NuWay Electronics was awarded the multi-year business, which entails a dozen cable and sensor assemblies.
